UK Passports
 
 
Key Travel can offer a UK passport renewal, 2nd Passports and jumbo size passports service via an outside supplier.
 
For  all services an appointment has to be made in advance (subject to availability) For urgent applications please email visa@keytravel.co.uk or call 0207 843 9678 so we can double check whether we have sufficient time.
 
Passport application forms with full guidance and notes can be obtained from the Post Office. You can also request them from www.ips.gov.uk
 
Requirements for passport renewal /jumbo
 
If the applicants personal appearance has changed considerably the application form and photo needs to be countersigned.
 
  • Completed application form. The form comes with clear and detailed instructions. Please follow these carefully as any errors will delay your application. If you require the jumbo size passport please make sure you tick the relevant box
Complete the form in CAPITAL LETTERS and with a BLACK ball point pen
Write only within the white boxed areas.
Leave other areas of the form blank (DO NOT strike through or otherwise mark them)
 
  • You will also need to send in with the application your expired passport.

  • Supply first passport OR a copy of the first passport identification page (first passport must have at least 1 year validity) – a copy of the first passport can only be used on the 6-7 day service. If you request the 1-2 day service then the original passport must be provided.
 
  • Completed application form. The form comes with clear and detailed instructions. Please follow these carefully as any errors will delay you application. If you require the jumbo size passport please make sure you tick the relevant box

Lost or Stolen
 
If anyone wants a replacement passport as theirs has been lost or stolen, they will have to fill out a form and can not just get a replacement;
 
LOST OR STOLEN PASSPORT? NEW REPORTING PROCEDURES FROM DECEMBER 2003
 
The UK Passport Service (UKPS) implemented a new reporting procedure for lost or stolen passports. The UKPS has introduced the new LS01 form, which you will have to complete in order to get a replacement passport.
 
You should fill in one of the forms even if you do not wish to replace the lost/stolen document, so we can update our records.
 
The establishment of a formal reporting route and the sharing of data regarding lost/stolen passports with the police and immigration authorities will enable the UKPS to help with the growing problem of identity fraud and related crime. It will also bring us into line with other countries, such as the US, which already has a dedicated lost/stolen passport declaration form.
 
Customers used to inform the UKPS about lost or stolen passports when filling in an application form for a replacement or by writing a letter to their local Passport Office. The new reporting structure offers a fast and effective way to cancel the lost/stolen book so as to help prevent future misuse of the document and/or the customer´s identity.

Please Note: If you are applying for a passport to replace one that has been lost, stolen or damaged, please bear in mind that, for security reasons, we will treat it as a ´first-time´ application. This means that the UKPS will carry out additional checks, requiring you to provide supporting documentation, e.g. birth certificate. As such, replacements take longer to deal with than straightforward renewals. You must allow at least one week for the replacement of a passport that has been lost, stolen or damaged. For this reason the Premium (same day) service is not available for these applications. However, if you are travelling urgently, you will be able to use our one-week Fast Track service. We recommend that you apply early, well before your holiday, and do not book a short notice holiday without first checking that you either have, or are able to obtain from us, a valid passport
